1. Service Description
AI Modes™ (aimodes.ai) provides AI engagement analysis tools for educational and research purposes. The service classifies AI conversations into engagement modes and provides personalized feedback to help users improve their AI interaction skills.
2. User Accounts
You may create a free account to access additional features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: submitting automated or bot-generated content, attempting to bypass rate limits or access controls, or using the service to harass or harm others.
4. Payments and Refunds
Paid plans (Semester Pass, Individual Pro, Top-Up Pack) are processed through Stripe. Semester Passes expire at the end of the academic semester. Individual Pro subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. Top-Up credits do not expire. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Research Use
AI Modes is an active research instrument. By using the service, you consent to your anonymized engagement data being used for academic research. No personally identifiable information is shared in published research. You may opt out of research participation by contacting us.
6. Intellectual Property
The AI Engagement Modes framework, analysis algorithms, and website content are the intellectual property of Dr. Mark Keith and Brigham Young University. You retain ownership of your submitted conversations.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. AI-generated feedback is for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
